Bali 2023
Since my last visit of Indo I was craving to get back onto this beautiful island. Just freshly together with my girlfriend in 2020 I was already on it to convince her that traveling asia is the greatest. Extremly nice food, kind people, great weather not to mention those surf conditions. But then Covid hit. Traveling outside of Europe became unimaignable for months. Other countries have been way easier to access. So it came that by the very end of 2022 that island I missed almost as much as Oz was welcoming travelers again legally.
Getting into the island vibe only took us a day. As soon as we got our scooter the feelings were on. That hot breeze whilst driving along more rural areas. The Bintang after surf. The smell of the everyday Nasi Campur. Reviewing some of the images even from five years ago bring up only good memories.
Bali 2018
In april 2018 I spontaneously visited the island of Bali and was confronted with one of the most fun vibes you can imagine. Getting around with scooters, breathing the dusty streets air, watching surfers all along the coasts beaches such as Uluwatu or Echo Beach, taking out the surfboard myself, climbing Mount Batur for sunrise, exploring the northern lakes and waterfalls and not missing out the more spirutual and relaxing Ubud right in the center I had a great experience during my first visit of Indonesia.
